1. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture
MDConverter is built from the ground up to operate entirely inside your client browser. When you paste text or upload files (.md, .docx, .html, .csv, .json, .pdf), all parsing, syntax transformation, and file generations occur locally via JavaScript Web APIs. Your files and document contents are never transmitted to, uploaded to, or stored on our servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or log:
• Any document text, code, or markdown content entered into the studio.
• File names or contents of dropped or attached documents.
• Personal identifying information or accounts.
3. Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example which converters are visited, the browser and device type, approximate country, and the page that referred you. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visits. It never receives the text or files you convert, because those are processed only inside your browser. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site. We do not currently show advertising; if that changes, this policy will be updated first.
